Day 17: Pins everywhere!

Not sure if they believed me that I collect pins...but they're on display in my office for anyone to see...and they are all currently work appropriate :-)

Day 16: An end to a long day

My favorite way to end a day: mug of tea (hibiscus and mint to be exact) and my writing.

Day 15: Nail clipping is a little dangerous

I finally broke down and bought clippers so that I can trim Josie Lee's nails...I had to wrap her in a blanket and pull one paw out at a time. She was NOT a happy camper...although this picture makes her look like she is cozy and comfy.


I make no promises that she will make NOT appearances over the next year...none whatsoever

Day 14: A little bit of home here in Jersey!

Went to go get milk, cheese, and bread at Halo Farms (a local dairy that sells milk and whatnot on the cheap) and had to take a picture of the cows (not real) next to the building because I (like any good Wisconsin girl) see cows and immediately think "home!"

Day 13: Finding a family in New Jersey

This is the original building that the church that I started attending when I moved to New Jersey. I dont actually worship in this building because of the structure issues. They have a building across the street that is used. But the building is still beautiful...plus I'm a sucker for pretty buildings

Day 12: Laughter is the best form of therapy

Tonight Margaret Cho was the main act at TCNJ's Spring Comedy show. Great show! Lots of Laughs!

Day 11: My staff is nuts I tell you...

At a program tonight we had sand art and this masterpiece was done by one of my staff members...titled "Victory Cat"

Day 10: The ultimate reminder of love

When I have a bad day at work all I need to do is turn and see smiles of people who I love. I take one look and I smile knowing that my life is not directed from that one minute and I have had fun and that I will have fun in the future.

Day 9: It's supposed to be spring damnit!

This was taken yesterday actually but this is reminding me that spring is coming...eventually

Day 7: One of my favorite comedians

One of the many benefits of working for a college is that often times the campus will being big names to campus to perform...and you get to buy tickets for cheap to go to the event!

Day 6: Preserving home

I finally got around to getting this chinese silk that I have had for as long as I can remember. It got to the point with this last move that I was really worried about how it would travel. I think it turned out FANTASTIC AND the framing job was 60% off which made it actually pretty reasonably priced :-)

Day 4: Something to come home to

World, Meet Josie Lee. Josie Lee meet: the world

This little bundle of spaz is the best decision I have made since moving to New Jersey. She is sweet and cuddly and has a personality all her own. In this picture she was "helping" with the computer work I was doing.

Even when I am on duty she is curled up next to me on the couch while I am submitting IRs and writing up my accounts of information and then when it's time to get what little sleep I can get before the alarm goes off she follows me and curls up right next to me.

These two women go around and talk about sexual violence and empowering college students to make change. Plus...it's always nice to actually meet your facebook friends :-)

Before I begin....

Alright...After hemming and hawing aabout wanting to do this I have made the decision to complete the 365 Photo project where I will post 1 picture a day of something that makes me happy.

Each day will be a new picture (unless I am on vacation which I will post one for each day I was gone).

Most days I will post pictures from that day (everyonce and a while I will post old pictures if I am feeling sentimental....wish me luck!
